Tilbury ferry

The closure of the Tilbury to Gravesend ferry last year, due to the financial recklessness of the former Conservative council, was a huge loss for our area.

The ferry was a small but crucial part of local public transport infrastructure, providing a vital link between Thurrock and Gravesham. Growing up here, I have many fond memories of going on the ferry, and as a parent I’ve loved using it to go on day trips with my family.

As your MP, I'm determined to bring this service back for our community.

I've been campaigning in Parliament for the return of the ferry and now I need your support. To make a strong case for its return, I want to hear from you about why we need the ferry back and what you previously used it for.

Support my campaign to bring back the Tilbury ferry

Together with my colleague Lauren Sullivan, MP for Gravesham, we’re calling for the return of the ferry from Tilbury to Gravesend.

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to campaign for this, but need your support to make the case for bringing back this important transport link.
