4 July
I'm Jen Craft, I am fighting to be your next MP.
I was born in Orsett Hospital, I went to Palmer's College, and now I am raising my young family here.
This is my home. I understand the feeling of frustration that things are not working as they should be. My mortgage has skyrocketed, I am paying increased council tax, and we don't have enough GPs or dentists.

After 14 years of Conservative government, working people are paying more and getting less. I'm Jen Craft, I am fighting to be your next MP.

It's time for change, and I am committed to working every day to improve the lives of families in Thurrock. I will put you first - this is my home and I will not shy away from standing up for Thurrock in Parliament.
I'm not a career politician, as a SEND parent I am used to fighting for what my family needs. I want to bring this fight and commitment to make things better for you, your family, the community and everyone in this country.
My 5 Missions
I will be an MP from Thurrock, for Thurrock.
I will always stand up for my community. I am from Thurrock, I was born here, grew up here and I'm raising my children here. I have a young family, including a daughter with additional needs. I understand the frustration that things are not working as they should be.
Fight for your family to be better off.
In Thurrock we are paying more and getting less. Labour will make work pay and stabilise the economy. We will create well paid, lifelong career focused jobs that will provide security and prosperity that our families need.
Bring the community together to tackle crime.
Car crime and anti social behaviour blight our community. I'll hold street meetings to identify the issues and agree actions. Labour will put 13,000 more police and community support officers on our streets. We deserve to feel safe when we are out and about in Thurrock.
A local doctor or dentist when you need it.
In Thurrock, we have the second fewest GPs per person in the country. It is just too hard to get an appointment, resulting in more pressure on our overstretched A&Es. I will work with local GPs and the Government to attract more GPs to Thurrock to get you an appointment when you need it.
Give children the best start in life.
Labour will break down the barriers to opportunity, recruiting 6,500 new teachers in key subjects where there are shortages. This will boost standards and ensure that every child has access to high-quality education provision.
